Daniel Jaen ... Daniel Jaen is a contemporary painter and investigator of the human body. Through his portraits, the artist puts his own sexuality under discussion and questions the image of men in today's society. His dy-namic and fragmented brushstrokes invoke masculine fragility and allow these figures to manifest them-selves in their most sensitive forms. The artist intends to go beyond the physical body. The several layers of painting, the often visible sketches and unfinished parts, create the most diverse connotations and let the viewer reach other psychological and emotional extensions of men. Daniel has a close relationship with social networks that is directly manifested in his work. His technique has a strong influence of sev-eral other contemporary artists with whom he connects on digital platforms.

Apparemment, Gabriel Nash est végétarien et a principalement un ré-gime à base de fromage, de lait et de poisson. Alors je suppose qu’aujourd’hui, il s’appellerait un pesca-tarian. Agostino Arrivabene ... Agostino Arrivabene, a very talented Italian painter, is a painter of decadence, dream and ancient symbologies who uses his own homemade pigments and colors and tries to revive ancient pictorial techniques. Arrivabene was born in Rivolta d’Adda, in the province of Cremona, Italy in 1967. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in 1991. He then travelled to various Italian and international cities seeking out the work of the Old Masters, deepening his knowledge of his craft, and bringing to bear a great influence upon the future development of his own artwork.

Mark Beard ... Mark Beard, born in 1956 in Salt Lake city, now lives in New York City. His works are in museum collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; the Museum of Modern Art, New York City; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York City; the Boston Museum of Fine Arts; and the Harvard, Yale, and Princeton University Art Museums; among many others.

 

Jack Smith ... Jack Smith is a British painter, currently based in Barcelona. He mostly paints landscapes and portraits. One of his portraits is currently exhibited at the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona. He has also exhibited in several venues in the United Kingdom including the Museum of Oxford and the Pitt Rivers Museum. Jack likes to experiment with different techniques. He uses palette knives to apply the paint thickly and lately has been using fast circular motions to give a dreamlike quality. Jack’s favourite artists include Post-Impressionist painters such as Paul Cézanne, and contemporary artists such as Raynald Leclerc and Josephine Trotter. Jack has a strong engagement with the LGBTQ+ community and his Pride in London painting was recently selected by the UK Magistrates Association to be among the exhibition: “A 100 years of justice”. He was also invited for a solo exhibition at St. John’s College, University of Oxford with a series of portraits depicting the lives of LGBTQ+ people in Oxford.

He has photographed many different subjects, scenes, and mo-ments. There's a picture around every corner. He is surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. He uses his camera to document the world and then print that magic for others to share with him. His focus is in male photography art, specifically ridding of shame and welcoming acceptance. His photos tell his story. James Childs ...Born in 1947, the basis of James Childs’ art today is his study with Richard Lack (1971-74) and R.H.Ives Gammell (Summers 1971 -73), an education based in Boston Impressionism and the traditions of the Ecole des Beaux Arts transmitted through Gammell’s master, William McGregor Paxton who studied with Dennis Miller Bunker and the great Gerome in Paris - a tradition transmitted in an unbroken line from the Florentine Renaissance. Childs amplified these studies by extensive copying of the Masters and comparative research in 19th. Century and Renaisance painting and drawing. The Greek aesthetic informs his personal ideal. He has a B.F.A. from The Minneapolis College of Art and Design and spent a year at Atelier 63 in Haarlem, Holland, founded and taught by members of the expressionist group COBRA, Ger Lataster and Karl Apprl. James Childs work can be described as a modern hybrid of Classical Greek idealism, the influence of the Fifteenth Century Italian "gusto grande’, and the refinement of the great Academic masters of 19th. Century France. His color is inspired by his personal reaction to nature, to Boston Impressionism and to French Post-Impressionism.

 

 

Chawky Frenn ... Born in Zahlé, Lebanon, Chawky Frenn lived his formative years in a country of beauty, mysticism and conflict. He witnessed six years of civil war whose devastating images and consequences would powerfully influence his life and work. He moved to the United States in 1981. In 1985 Frenn received a BFA from Mass College of Art, Boston, MA, and in 1988 he completed his MFA from Tyler School of Art of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. He spent his second year of graduate studies at Temple Abroad in Rome, Italy. He taught at Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, MA; Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA and Edinboro University of PA, Edinboro, PA. He is currently an Assistant Professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Frenn exhibits extensively, nationally and internationally. He had shows in the US, France, Germany, Lebanon and Paraguay. In 2000-2002, Frenn's first traveling show ECCE HOMO was hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN; George Mason University in Fairfax, VA; the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts in New Castle, PA; the Housatonic Museum of Art in Bridgeport, CT; the Erie Art Museum in Erie, PA and St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. John Dugdale ... John Dugdale (born 1960 in Connecticut) is an American art photographer. Internationally renowned he creates poignant and stirringly intimate imagery using 19th century photographic processes and a 19th century aesthetic. At the age of 33, Dugdale had a transformative experience of nearly total blindness due to a stroke and CMV retinitis, an HIV-related illness. Completely blind in his right eye, Dugdale found himself seeing with less than twenty percent visibility in his left eye. While blindness ended his successful commercial photography career, he found himself free to explore his fine art, using friends and family members as studio assistants.

 

Albert Copieux ... Albert Copieux (1885-1956), peintre, graveur et aquarelliste, a longtemps tenu secrète une oeuvre monumentale constituée de 1530 dessins et croquis de guerre, réalisée en cinq ans de mobilisation au front. Omar Chaves Viteri ... Omar Chaves Viteri is from Bucaramanga, Colombia. Fully self-taught painter and draftsman, Omar is also a General Practitioner who graduated in medicine in 2006 from one of the most prestigious universities in Colombia. He never received a formal arts education, his curiosity and love for science and knowledge has led him to discover unique ways to combine light and use pigments as compounds, not only for their hue, the discipline inherited from his training in the scientific method, and constant and strict practice in the study and graphic representation of the male anatomy. Omar enjoys capturing men’s figures as they engage in daily life, in addition to apocalyptic, dystopian events, with overtones of horror and cyberpunk.
