Daniel Jaen ... Daniel Jaen is a contemporary painter and investigator of the human body. Through his portraits, the artist puts his own sexuality under discussion and questions the image of men in today's society. His dy-namic and fragmented brushstrokes invoke masculine fragility and allow these figures to manifest them-selves in their most sensitive forms. The artist intends to go beyond the physical body. The several layers of painting, the often visible sketches and unfinished parts, create the most diverse connotations and let the viewer reach other psychological and emotional extensions of men. Daniel has a close relationship with social networks that is directly manifested in his work. His technique has a strong influence of sev-eral other contemporary artists with whom he connects on digital platforms.

 

Alexander Canedo ... Alexander Canedo (1902-1978) was a Mexican-American artist primarily influenced by the 1920s. The 1920s and 1930s saw continued development and evolution of the key innovations of the primary years of the twentieth century. To have this time as the formative period for an artist was to be surrounded by inspiring practitioners of the pictorial arts. It was also a time of recovery and introspection after the hor-rors of the First World War, which saw significant shifts in the political world. Marxism was a prevalent political ideology which was also tremendously influential amongst artists and their communities. Im-portant artistic developments included a kind of expressive mannerism which was epitomised by Brancu-si, Modigliani and Soutine in Paris.

 

Gabriel Nash (modèle) ... Le mannequin du jour nous vient de BelamiOnline et est un beau jeune homme musclé de Hongrie appe-lé Gabriel Nash. Quel beau gosse! Apparemment, Gabriel Nash est végétarien et a principalement un ré-gime à base de fromage, de lait et de poisson. Alors je suppose qu’aujourd’hui, il s’appellerait un pesca-tarian. Il faut vraiment des tonnes de protéines et des heures interminables dans la salle de sport, et de bons gènes bien sûr, pour avoir un corps comme ça. Gabriel est définitivement un régal pour tous ces amoureux des jeunes mecs musclés. Et il semble que ce soit une espèce que nous verrons plus souvent sur BelamiOnline à l’avenir.

 

Agostino Arrivabene ... Agostino Arrivabene, a very talented Italian painter, is a painter of decadence, dream and ancient symbologies who uses his own homemade pigments and colors and tries to revive ancient pictorial techniques. Arrivabene was born in Rivolta d’Adda, in the province of Cremona, Italy in 1967. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in 1991. He then travelled to various Italian and international cities seeking out the work of the Old Masters, deepening his knowledge of his craft, and bringing to bear a great influence upon the future development of his own artwork.

 

Patrick Bonin ... Quand il s’agit de défendre la planète, Patrick Bonin ne fait pas les choses à moitié. Avec plus de deux décennies de combat acharné pour le climat, ce spécialiste des changements climatiques est une véritable force de la nature. Armé d’une maîtrise en sciences de l’environnement, d’un diplôme en éducation relative à l’environnement et d’un baccalauréat en administration des affaires spécialisé en sécurité et gestion de crise, il allie science, pédagogie et stratégie comme personne. Patrick n’est pas qu’un expert, c’est aussi un pionnier. Co-porte-parole de la Coalition Québec-vert-Kyoto, il a remporté non pas un, mais deux prestigieux Phénix de l’environnement: d’abord en 2004 pour Delirium environnemental, une émission et un site web d’actualité environnementale avant-gardistes, puis en 2011 pour Faites de l’air!, un programme novateur de recyclage de vieilles voitures. En plus d’être reconnu par ses pairs, en 2005, M. Bonin fut nommé écologiste de l’année à l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). Son engagement l’a mené sur les plus grandes scènes internationales où il a participé à de nombreuses conférences de l’Organisation des Nations-Unies (ONU) dont Rio+20 portant sur le développement durable. Il a occupé la direction générale de Projets Saint-Laurent, organisation à l’origine du Jour de la Terre Québec, avant de diriger pendant quatre ans la campagne Climat-Énergie de l’Association québécoise de lutte contre la pollution atmosphérique (AQLPA). Actif pendant plus d’une décennie au sein du Réseau action climat Canada, à titre d’administrateur, il a également joué un rôle clé au sein de plusieurs autres conseils d’administration et comités stratégiques dédiés à la transition énergétique et au développement durable. Et parce qu’un combat pour la planète ne s’arrête jamais, Patrick Bonin a été la voix incontournable de Greenpeace Canada pendant plus de douze ans, menant avec fougue et détermination la campagne Climat-Énergie.

Johan Tobias Sergel's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 178 USD to 115,560 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 1999 the record price for this artist at auction is 115,560 USD for Orfeus slår lyran för kvinnorna, sold at Uppsala Auktionskammare in 2022.Johan Tobias Sergel has been featured in articles for ArtDaily, Artsy and HUMA3. The most recent article is Cupid and Psyche: Love Story Through Sculpture written for Daily Art Magazine in February 2024.The artist died in 1814.

 

Jack Smith ... Jack Smith is a British painter, currently based in Barcelona. He mostly paints landscapes and portraits. One of his portraits is currently exhibited at the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona. He has also exhibited in several venues in the United Kingdom including the Museum of Oxford and the Pitt Rivers Museum. Jack likes to experiment with different techniques. He uses palette knives to apply the paint thickly and lately has been using fast circular motions to give a dreamlike quality. Jack’s favourite artists include Post-Impressionist painters such as Paul Cézanne, and contemporary artists such as Raynald Leclerc and Josephine Trotter. Jack has a strong engagement with the LGBTQ+ community and his Pride in London painting was recently selected by the UK Magistrates Association to be among the exhibition: “A 100 years of justice”. He was also invited for a solo exhibition at St. John’s College, University of Oxford with a series of portraits depicting the lives of LGBTQ+ people in Oxford.
